wouldn't hesitate to stay there again
charming decor with artwork and loads of books makes the place feel like a cozy friend's home. Our room had a great seaview, comfy bed, and the electric shower was on point. Loved the breakfast options, especially the fresh fruit and pastries. Very warm vibe thanks to the friendly staff. Nice outdoor garden too.

Charming decor throughout, giving a unique character some might appreciate. Convenient honesty bar set up, providing a late-night option without leaving the premises.
Rooms can be small, with a cramped layout that might not suit everyone, especially when it comes to maneuvering around the furniture. Some furnishings, like the armchair, show signs of wear, and might benefit from a refresh. Consideration for parking needs to be taken as spaces can fill up quickly, especially in the evenings, and dealing with noise from adjoining rooms could affect a peaceful night’s sleep. the shower in the bathroom seemed outdated and prone to leaks, which could dampen the experience. Lastly, while the breakfast options exist, their quality and consistency in availability may leave some guests wanting more.

I stayed in a Double Room with Sea View, and the views were just amazing. The room had cozy decor and a comfy bed, which made it a great spot to relax. It felt like home, honestly! Plus, having my morning coffee while looking out at the harbor was a highlight. The soundproofing seemed decent too, which was a relief.

During my stay, I was eager to enjoy the balcony but found that it was not cleaned well. Despite this, I took time to enjoy a meal at a nearby restaurant, which was a good experience.
I faced issues with the front desk, as there was no one available when I arrived, and I ended up waiting for assistance in an uncomfortable situation.

Booked a double sea view room at The Royal for a spontaneous getaway. Upon arrival, temperatures were checked. The initial room was tiny. I had to crawl over my partner to get to the toilet. Thankfully, the hotel upgraded us to a larger room with a sea view balcony for a fee, and it was much better. Enjoyed a peaceful stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I couldn’t even reach my partner to nudge him about his snoring! the hotel didn't provide any food service, just a continental breakfast in a takeaway bag, which we skipped. Plenty of local cafes and a supermarket nearby served as a convenient alternative. A bit of feedback, no mini fridge in the room, which would have been handy. make sure to bring your own toiletries as there were only two tiny shampoos and a small soap. Free tea and coffee, but no biscuits, was a letdown for the price we paid. Despite these quirks, the stunning view and great location make me want to return.
